Andrea Jeremiah

Andrea Maria Jeremiah, an Indian performer and actress, is best known for her roles in Tamil and Malayalam films. Annayum Rasoolum was her Malayalam and Tamil debut. She debuted in Tamil with Pachaikili Muthucharam. Andrea Jeremiah was born to an Anglo-Indian family at Arakkonam in Tamil Nadu.Andrea's father works as a solicitor in the Madras High Court. She has one younger sister who is a resident of Leuven Belgium as a research assistant. Jeremiah lived in the vicinity of Chennai she attended National Public School before graduating from Women's Christian College. Andrea was an eight year old classical musician who was extremely geeky. In her twenties, she became a part of a Jackson Five-style troupe called Young Stars which formed the foundation of her performing and music composition career. She worked as a stage artist at her college and was a part of in several plays produced through The Madras Players, EVAM and other theatre groups. She served as the president of Women's Christian College's Student Senate. Andrea's professional career began with the Girishkarnad Nagamandala. She starred with Shiva as a leo advertisement for coffee in the year 2006. She also acted in an episode that was retransmitted on Podhigai channel. The actress has appeared all over India. She was a part of a short part in Kanda Mudhal in 2005, which is the finale. When she sang a tune in Gautham Vasudev Menon's Vettaiyaadu she was asked to appear in the role of a lead female character in his next film Pachaikili Muthucharam. Andrea played Kalyani who is a homewife whose husband has been involved in an affair. Andrea was allegedly threatened with a blackmail. Andrea was picked to play the character following the actors Simran Tabu and Tabu were invited to audition for the film. The film premiered at the start of 2010. It was released in the month of August, 2011. Venkat Prabhu released his multi-starrer Mankatha. The film was commissioned to play a minor support role. Annayum Rasoolum was Rajeev's romantic movie in 2013.
