Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe was born into an ethnically diverse family. The mother of her child is English and her father is Nigerian. She was born on the south London Council Estate. She attended The Brit School aged 14. She attended The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London where she gained a BA in acting. While at school she appeared in several stage productions, such as King Henry V's Princess Katherine or Wuthering Heights.
Madekwe began her acting career by starring in a movie titled Storm Damage. The actress has been guest for Teachers Doctors Casualty Drop Dead Gorgeous. Madekwe's debut film is her role in the Woody Allen 2007 movie Cassandra's Dream. She starred with Colin Farrell & Ewan MacGregor. The film's success led her to play Elisha as a one-off BBC Three drama West 10 LDN pilot. Later, she appeared in the six-episode series Trexx & Flipside in the role of Ollie. In 2008, she had the opportunity to play the role as Bambi on the ITV2 Drama series Secret Diary of a Call Girl, appearing in episodes two and three. Madekwe starred in the comedy film How to Lose Friends & Get People to Leave. A couple of her credits on stage include Little Sweet Thing (by Roy Williams) and Flight Path (by David Watson).
Madekwe made her US debut on the drama The Beautiful Life, which was only broadcast on The CW before being cancelled. Ashley Davenport was her role in the ABC drama Revenge. Madekwe was in the episodes of the series' initial two seasons as a regular. But in May of 2013, word broke that the actress would leave the show after her guest appearance on the first episode of the series' third season. In the television series Salem in 2014, she portrayed Tituba from 2014 until 2016. From June to July 2012, she got married to her long-time partner, actor Iddo Goldberg. Together, they worked in the film Secret Diary of a Call Girl. He also played with her on Salem.

Ashley Leggat grew up in Hamilton Ontario and was a part of a large family. Four of her older brothers were present as well including twins Todd and Bram, Brett & Rob. Ashley's family, which is all athletes, play baseball during the summer and played hockey in the winter months. Ashley was not a walker, but she danced. At age two and a half, she was introduced to Baby Ballet. Ashley fell in love with dancing at the age of. Ashley continued to perform competitively throughout high school with top divisions like tap, Jazz, Ballet and Pointe. She also competed in Acrobatics, Acrobatics Musical Theatre, Lyrical, Hip Hop, and much more. She also won top soloists awards in all major dance contests, such as International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers, 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance and many more.
