Julia-roberts

Julia Fiona Roberts was born in Atlanta on October 28 1967 as the daughter of Betty Lou Bredemus and Walter Grady Roberts. She comes from the fourth Roberts family to have been a resident of Atlanta. It started with her grandfather John Pendleton Roberts who was a farm. Her father took an early interest in theater. While a student at Emory University he appeared in numerous productions at and off the campus. In 1953, he enlisted in the Air Force. While stationed at Biloxi in Mississippi, he acted in a show with Betty Lou Bredemus. In 1955, they got married and, in 1956, their child Eric Anthony was born. Walter attended Tulane University at New Orleans, Louisiana in 1957 after they had separated from the Air Force of the United States. In 1960 the family moved to Decatur Georgia where Walter began working at Atlanta's Academy Theater and the Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio. Walter and Betty Lou produced a Saturday morning local television show for kids known as Bum Bum and His Buddies in 1964. It was a venture they self-financed. They founded an Actors and Writers Workshop in the same year, which ran for about six years. They also had two youngsters Lelisa (called Lisa) Billingsley in 1965 as well as Julia (called Julie) in 1967.
