Julia-roberts

Julia Fiona Roberts is the daughter of Betty Lou Bredemus, and Walter Grady Roberts. She was born on 28 October 1967 in Atlanta. Her great-grandfather John Pendleton Roberts, a farmer was the first Roberts to settle in Atlanta. Her father took the first interest to the theater. He performed on at the Emory University campus in 1952 and also in a variety of productions in Atlanta. While stationed in Biloxi Mississippi, he received his induction into the airforce in 1953. Betty Lou Bredemus was in that production as well. The couple got married in the year 1955. Their first baby son Eric Anthony, was born in the year 1956. Walter was a student at Tulane University New Orleans Louisiana after he left the Airforce in 1957. Walter joined Atlanta Academy Theater and Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio when they moved their family from Atlanta to Decatur, Georgia in 1960. Walter and Betty Lou financed their own production of a Sunday morning children's show, Bum Bum and His Buddies. In 1964, Betty Lou and Walter founded The Actors and Writers Workshop. It ran for six years. During this time they had two more kids Lelisa (called Lisa) Billingsley in the year 1965, in 1965 and Julia (called Julie) in 1967.
