Kelly Clarkson, an American artist, actress and singer who was crowned the American Idol competition during its debut season, grew into a popular choice for the nation. It was this win that did more than make her a household name, but earned her a deal for several albums through RCA Records 19 Recordings as in addition to 'S Records. Since then she has released various studio albums. Three of which made the cut of the US Billboard 200' chart and her other albums barely missed the coveted spot. She's one of the top artists who be born from her participation in the American Idol series. She tried her hand at fame with various themes as well as music styles, and often wrote her own music. They acclaimed her critically and won many prestigious prizes in recognition of her uniqueness and vocal prowess. In particular, she's won three times the Grammy Award three times. Alongside her career in music, she has appeared in films and television shows. She is also the author of the children's novel River Rose and the Magical Lullaby and is involved with numerous charitable organizations.
