Simone Biles

Simone Biles (born on March 14, 1997, in Columbus Ohio U.S.A.) American Gymnast considered one the sport's most outstanding athletes. She was the first female gymnast from America ever to win four gold medals at the same Games. In Rio de Janeiro, she was also the first female to have won consecutive World All-Around titles. Biles was raised in Spring Texas in the Houston metropolitan area after her and her sister Adria were adopted by their grandparents Ronald and Nellie Biles. Simone started to develop an interest in gymnastics as when she was six years old in a school field trip to Bannon Gymnastix. Aimee Borman was her coach over the next 11 years. Biles earned a silver in vault in 2010 and also a bronze at the women's Junior Olympic National Championships. She then moved up to elite-level competitions in 2011. In less than two years, she was the most dominant athlete in the field. Biles was notable for her constant performance her exuberant attitude and the level of challenge she made in each event--vault bars that were uneven the balance beam, and the ground exercises.
