Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy, a half-Spanish half-English lady was born April 16, 1996 in Miami Florida. Half English and half Spanish they are the daughters of Dennis Alan Taylor a former banker and Jennifer Marina Joy a psychologist. The father of her is Argentine with Scottish and English heritage. Her mother hails from Spanish and English origin. Her birthplace was in a family of six children. Four are her siblings from her previous marriage to Taylor's dad. The family resided throughout Buenos Aires up until Taylor-Joy reached the age of six, after which they moved to the Victoria district of London. According to Taylor-Joy, the move was traumatic and she did not want to study English in the hopes of returning to Argentina. Her school had to change from Northlands towards Hill House. After that, she was enrolled at Queen's Gate School, where she was a dancer and also performed in productions. After 16 she left school in order to make a career out of acting. At a very young age, Taylor-Joy knew that she wanted to be an actor and the dream became a reality when she was offered the opportunity to model Sarah Doukas the founder of Storm Management.
